SHORT DESCRIPTION

KTPS pole substations are designed to receive electrical energy of three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz with the highest operating voltage up to 12 kV (nominal operating voltage of 6 or 10 kV), convert it to a voltage of 0.4 kV in a system with a dead-earthed transformer neutral on the low voltage side and distribute it among consumers.

All substation equipment is placed directly on the support of an overhead high-voltage power line of voltage class 10(6) kV. Structurally, all the equipment of the transformer substation is mounted on metal structures that are fixed to the poles of the power line type SV 105, SV 110 and similar.
